Your Neighbor in Real Estate: It's Halloween Season and I nearly Scared Myself Half To Death

It's Halloween Season and I nearly Scared Myself Half To Death

Halloween CostumeIt's Halloween Season and I nearly Scared Myself  Half To Death

Well, what would you do if you were walking down your hallway and barely saw this in your peripheral vision?

For me,  I got a healthy adrenaline rushing, heart pumping, breath taking impact to my system.

Cue the scary  music from "Pyscho" and   and maybe you might have an inkling to what I was feeling.

And then I realized it was the Ghoulish Cape I was sewing for Halloween. Halloween Costume

Needless to say, I took that bad guy down immediately and put him away until the 31st.

So what do you do for Halloween? Do you dress up? Go to a party? Hand out candy to the Trick or Treaters?

haha, Sandy - that's a HOOT!  I, too, have been known to gasp and jump at something in my peripherals... Usually a bathrobe I hung up, or something similar!   We will probably just be home handing out candy, but may go to a costume party. :)

I've done things like that before! Here in Hood River, our entire "Main Street" in downtown is closed off and the kids trick-or-treat at all the local businesses/shops. There are games and food and everyone we know goes. It's like a huge carnival. Our favorite place to be for Halloween. We even dress up and take my chihuahua! Even our 13-year-old trick or treats.

Sandy. I make those fancy decorated cookies - this year it will be pumpkins and bandage wrapped heads with eyes and then package them up for the kids (6) on the street and the adults who live with them. I then shut off the lights and keep candy out of the house! LOL

Hi Jennifer, don't you feel so silly after?

Hi Gretchen, now that sounds like fun!

And Valerie, that's the most sane idea.
