Your Neighbor in Real Estate: Will the New Orleans Saints March in a Real Estate Recovery in Oxnard California?

Will the New Orleans Saints March in a Real Estate Recovery in Oxnard California?

New Orleans Saints iconWill the New Orleans Saints March in a Real Estate Recovery in Oxnard California?

I Told You So...And now even the New Orleans Saints Agree...And They Are Marching Here...!!

For the past several years, the Dallas Cowboys have used the River Ridge fields as a pre-season training camp. They gave their loyal, local fans the chance to see them practice, signed autographs and sold memorabilia.

During that time, Sean Payton was the offensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys. He came with the team to Oxnard when they had their NFL training camp at the River Ridge fields located right next to the Residence Inn by Marriott.

So he saw for himself that the
cooler temperatures in Oxnard might make it easier for the 2010 Super Bowl Champions to get in some good practices here in our ocean side community. New Orleans is plagued by heat and humidity this time of the year.

Payton, now, as the New Orleans Saints head coach, said, “We are going to Oxnard mainly to extend camp by a week
and to escape the heat a little bit.”

According to Greg Bensel, the Saints’ vice president of communications, all practices will start at 4 p.m. and end about 6:45 p.m. Bensel said all practices in Oxnard will be open to the public.

The fans will be pumped to see their favorite NFL players, and the local economy will be pumped by the thousands that make the journey here. The city's revenue coffers have been increased in the past by over $4 million. A world class team and Super Bowl Champion might bring in even more.

What better testament to the Oxnard Real Estate community's best asset -
the climate- than for a bunch of burly NFL Football players coming to this town because it is cool? How coolis that?

Do you think they will let me set up a table with the local
listings of homes for sale ? Hmmmm...

Maybe not. But
you  certainly can call me for that super cool list of homes for sale in  cool, cool Oxnard, CA.

Maybe I will have to vacation there and watch some training.  That would be fun.

Hi Sandy, I know the local community will support them. I've been down to San Diego to watch the Chargers practice.......

Hey Tim, Why not? Mission Viejo is not that far.

Hi Ronald, The local community usually comes out in droves. They love NFL teams especially since LA doesn't have one.

Hi Sandy,

Certainly a good idea to show up and have some good car signs and possibly some hand out materials available.......

We used to call that prospecting by walking around ....with a purpose.....;)

"Prospecting by walking around, with a purpose." I like that, and will use it.

I'd suggest you get one of your frndies to contact your various competitors and get a price list. I would then charge 5% less, with an extra 10% introductory offer. Was this answer helpful?
